NC has officially unveiled the first major Chapter 1 update for Aion 2, giving players an early look at the new systems and gameplay improvements arriving soon. During the June 30 live broadcast, the developers shared details about a brand-new class, major progression changes, and several quality-of-life updates designed to improve the overall experience. As players begin preparing for the next stage of the game, collecting valuable Aion 2 Items has become an important part of getting ready for the challenges that lie ahead.
The presentation featured Development PD Kim Namjoon and Business Director So In-seop, who explained the design goals behind the upcoming patch. Rather than simply adding more content, the team focused on making progression smoother while expanding opportunities for character growth. Whether upgrading equipment, enhancing skills, or tackling tougher dungeons, Aion 2 Items will continue to play a central role in helping players build stronger characters throughout Chapter 1.
The biggest highlight of the update is undoubtedly the arrival of the Brawler, a fast-moving melee damage dealer built around aggressive combat and high mobility. Unlike slower frontline classes, the Brawler excels at quickly engaging enemies, dealing heavy burst damage, and repositioning before opponents can react.
Its defining mechanic is the Fury Gauge. Every offensive skill fills the gauge, and once it reaches its maximum, the character enters Berserk mode. During Berserk, attack power increases significantly while several abilities become much stronger, rewarding players who can carefully manage their combat rotation.
The class also introduces several flashy abilities. Gale Strike lets players dash into enemy groups while pulling targets together. Explosive Fist delivers powerful burst damage during Berserk, while Flash Step creates unique combo opportunities by sending enemies toward teammates. Rage instantly restores Fury, allowing another damage cycle, and Area Summon gives players an escape point after diving into dangerous fights.
Overall, the Brawler offers an energetic playstyle that rewards skillful timing and positioning.
Chapter 1 also introduces meaningful improvements to character progression.
The Daevanion Board receives an expansion, allowing players to unlock additional bonuses and further customize their builds. Although the available points remain limited, this encourages thoughtful decisions instead of unlocking every available option.
Accessory progression has also become more rewarding. The Belt of Integrity and Amulet of Revelation can now reach Epic rarity, giving players stronger long-term upgrade goals.
Meanwhile, Pendants become obtainable through quests as Unique equipment before eventually reaching Legendary quality using Enchant Scrolls earned from gameplay. Once Legendary is achieved, players must rely on more advanced upgrade methods, creating additional objectives for dedicated players.
These changes provide a smoother sense of progression without making powerful equipment too easy to obtain.
One of the most player-friendly updates affects the Stigma system.
Previously, experimenting with different Stigma setups often required spending resources simply to reset existing builds. Chapter 1 removes those reset costs entirely, allowing players to freely adjust their builds whenever needed.
Additional improvements make customization even more flexible. Characters unlock a sixth Stigma slot at level 50, while High-grade Stigma Shards become available beginning at level 46. The maximum Stigma level increases to 25, and the fifth trait becomes available at the highest rank.
Players will also gain more flexibility when combining Stigmas of different levels, making specialized builds far easier to create for both PvE and PvP content.
Several endgame systems have also been redesigned to reduce unnecessary frustration.
Dungeon rewards are now much easier to manage. Players may accumulate up to ten unclaimed Expedition or Transcendence rewards before being prevented from entering additional runs. Party sizes also increase to five members, making it easier for smaller groups to organize dungeon runs.
Another convenient addition allows pets to remain mounted inside dungeons, reducing travel time between encounters.
Expeditions receive similar improvements. Although Od Energy consumption increases from 40 to 60 points, reward values also increase accordingly. Draconic crafting materials have been simplified into a single resource called Dragon Essence, making inventory management much cleaner while still supporting material conversion when necessary.
Higher-tier expeditions also continue providing valuable Kinah rewards, especially for players pushing the most difficult content.
Beyond gameplay improvements, NC is introducing stricter enforcement against proxy gaming. Players who complete content on behalf of others or advertise piloting services now risk permanent account suspension regardless of previous offenses. According to Business Director So In-seop, the policy required legal review before implementation, but enforcement will now move forward consistently. For players preparing legitimately, earning or finding cheap Aion 2 Items through trusted marketplaces like U4N can help save valuable time while staying focused on enjoying the new content.
Chapter 1 also introduces exciting endgame activities, including the Castle of the Fallen Daeva Expedition and the Abyss Horn Grotto Transcendence dungeon. Both become available at level 50 and feature multiple difficulty levels with valuable rewards such as Dragon Essence, powerful armor, Stat Arcana pieces, and Pure Crystal. As players begin tackling these demanding encounters, many will continue upgrading their gear, collecting Aion 2 Kinah, and looking for reliable resources to strengthen their characters before facing the game's toughest battles.
