Good food helps dogs feel their best at every stage of life. At Purely NZ Petfood Co, we make fresh and freeze dried meals from premium New Zealand ingredients. Here is how to choose well, whether your dog is a pup or a senior.
Is a Raw Diet Right for My Dog?
A raw diet can suit many dogs when it is balanced and fed with care. It uses uncooked ingredients such as muscle meat, organ meat and crushed bone. Every dog is different, so a plan based on your dog’s health and age works best.
Our raw pet food also includes selected fruits and vegetables. It is high in protein and low in carbohydrates. Many pet parents choose it to support digestion, lean muscle, healthy skin and steady energy.
Looking into a raw diet for dogs Singapore owners can trust? Our team can help you pick a meal that fits your dog.
What Should I Look for in Food for Senior Dogs?
Look for food that is gentle on digestion, easy to serve and made with real ingredients. Freeze dried food is a good fit for senior pets and those with sensitive digestion. It is easy to store and simple to prepare. Always check your dog’s needs with your vet.
Our freeze dried meals are made without artificial preservatives. Explore our food for senior dogs options, or take our “Find My Pet’s Match” questionnaire for a plan that suits your dog.
How Do I Serve Freeze Dried Food to an Older Dog?
Serving is simple. Rehydrate the food with warm water for a soft, fresh meal. You can also serve it dry as a treat, with fresh water close by.
Every dog eats differently. Adjust the portion to suit your dog and clean the bowl after each meal.
